How can you apply for a grant?

It is the goal of the Plymouth Community Foundation to pool gifts to the Foundation to fund programs that are feasible and will have a positive impact for the community.  The Plymouth Community Foundation will direct funds to specific projects and initiatives within the City of Plymouth. The Foundation will also serve as the umbrella foundation for future designated funds or other smaller foundations focused on achieving a better quality of life for residents of the Plymouth community.

Plymouth Community Foundation Funding:  Funding of the Plymouth Community Foundation is through private and corporate gifts and/or pass-through funding for specific programs. The Foundation operates as a wholly separate entity from the city and is in no way responsible for supplementing city budgets or other tax supported operating expenses.
Grant Application Process:  It is suggested that a letter of inquiry be sent to the Plymouth Community Foundation to determine interest by the Foundation. If initial inquiry indicates interest, a formal request for funding may be submitted with adequate documentation as outlined on the Minnesota Common Grant Application Form.
